Why Men Hate Going to Church

Excellent Read on the downfall of Men in the church. If you are looking for ways to stay relevant with the men in your community pick this book up. It will get you on the right track  – asking the tough questions of your congregation.

More than anything this book revealed where I am sitting on the sidelines. How can I jump in.

    Was wondering…

I can’t seem to find anyone – “Going to Church” – In my antiquated KJV.

Could the simple reason for “Why Men Hate Going to Church” be…
    It’s NOT in the Bible.

    In the Bible…
Jesus never mentioned to “His Disciples” about “Going to Church.”
NOT one “Disciple of Christ” taught about, or mentioned, “Going to Church.”
There are NO men and NO women – “Going to Church.”

Seems to me, these “Men Who Hate Going to Church,”
are a lot more biblical then those who do…
Because, NO one – man or women – was “Going to Church” in the Bible. 😉

What is popular is not always “Truth.”
What is “Truth” is not always popular.

    • Thank you for your comment. You really have me thinking about the misconception of the church. “Why do we do this church thing anyways?” Doing church is not knowing Jesus Christ. Sometimes is feels like hoops we have created to jump through to attain something. What is Christ calling us too? What does the Bible actually say?

      Thanks!

    Bradly

Much agreement – “Why do we do this church thing anyways?”

I spent a lot of years “Going to Church.” Because that was what I was told to do.
I never questioned it. I even taught others “Going to Church” was scriptural.

Then I read the Bible. Printed out every verse with “church,“- “ekklesia.”
Read them, over and over again. Couldn’t find anyone “Going to Church.”

    Doesn’t the Bible warn us about;
    The commandments of men?
    The doctrines of men?
    The philosophies of men?
    The traditions of men?
That make the Word of God of non effect?

    Mark 7:13
KJV – Making the word of God of “none effect” through your tradition…
ASV – Making “void” the word of God by your tradition…
NIV – Thus you “nullify” the word of God by your tradition…

Found out I was teaching “Traditions of men.” Traditions taught to me by
“The Religious System” of today and I believed them…

When you believe the lie you start to die…

What I now see as important is – If “Going to Church” is NOT in the Bible…
Could “Going to Church” be a “Commandment of Men?” A “Doctrine of Men?”
That eventually becomes our “Tradition” that makes “void” “The Word of God?”

If a simple example of “Going to Church” is NOT in the Bible…
Could there be other “Commandments of Men” we follow – But…
    Are NOT in the Bible?

There are many warnings about – False Apostles – Many False Prophets –
False Teachers – False Christs – False Annointed Ones – Trust NO man –
    Let NO man deceive you…

I now recommend believers go “Directly to Jesus” for their “Truth.”

Every one that is of the truth *heareth My voice.”
    John 18:37

Out of heaven he made thee to *hear His voice,*
    that *He might instruct thee*
    Deut 4:36

And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold:
them also I must bring, and they shall **hear MY voice;**
and there shall be “ONE” fold, and “ONE” shepherd.
    John 10:16

One Fold – One Shepherd – One Voice – One Leader
